Professional Experience
I am returning to the firm as an articled student after summering with the firm in 2010. Summering was an invaluable learning experience in which I was consistently involved in high-level, intellectually challenging work. I look forward to gaining further exposure to this calibre of work throughout my articling year.
I earned my law degree from the University of British Columbia, where I was the senior editor of the Canadian Journal of Family Law. I spent my last semester of law school on academic exchange at Science Po in Paris, France, where I studied international and EU law. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to immerse myself in the French language and culture and to travel through continental Europe.
Prior to law school, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English Literature from the University of British Columbia. During my second and third years of undergrad I was elected to the Arts Undergraduate Society as a General Officer, through which I helped organize and run numerous university-wide student events, such as Arts County Fair. I also served as the Director of Internal Affairs for the UBC Young Liberals.
Outside of law school, I was a member of the organizing committee of the 2010 BC Cancer Foundation Inspiration Gala, which raised 2.6 million dollars in support of Lymphoid Cancer research. In my spare time, I am an avid cook and gardener and a great lover of travel.
