Professional Experience
Summering at the firm was a fantastic experience and I am delighted to be returning for my articling term.
I recently obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. Prior to law school, I obtained an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo, during which time I was the recipient of the Co-op report award for a proposal I prepared regarding a nuclear waste management system. Before attending law school, I worked as an underwriter for an insurance company, and obtained the Chartered Insurance Professional designation. During law school, I was involved in various extracurricular activities, including as a legal clinic case worker and as a member of a fundraising team for the annual student fashion show. I enjoy volunteering both within the local community and abroad and most recently volunteered as a student-teacher in Cape Town, South Africa, with a focus in HIV/AIDS awareness.
I enjoy travelling, hiking, camping, running, cleaning, organizing, scrapbooking, and most of all, spending quality time with my Shih Tzu Samee.
