Professional Experience
Caroline Healey is a member of the firm's Corporate and Commercial group and Transportation and Aviation group. She has wide and deep experience in representing clients in the negotiation and enforcement of a large variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on transportation and aviation law in particular.
Before joining the firm, Caroline was Legal Counsel for an international trade association where she was responsible for the Financial Services Division. Before that, she worked for an important aircraft manufacturer, where she negotiated and supported high-value aerospace sourcing transactions. She also worked for one of Quebec City's main business law firms in 2004-2005.
Caroline is qualified in both Canadian legal systems: the Civil Law of Quebec and Common Law, and her legal qualifications are complemented by an MBA to give her a deep appreciation of the commercial realities surrounding any particular transaction or business relationship. Her work experience with a multinational corporation and an international organization gives her a valuable strategic perspective when advising clients on legal issues.
Caroline is involved within the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal where she is Director of the Corporate & Legal Affairs Committee (2011-2012). She is also on the Board of non-profit and community organizations and was member of Montreal Bar Association Committee representing in-house lawyers from 2006 to 2009.
