Professional Experience
After working at the firm last year I am excited to return as an articling student.
I completed my Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto. During law school I served as an executive member of the Student Law Society, volunteered at Downtown Legal Services, co-chaired the Entertainment Law Society, and served as an executive member of the Faculty of Law Orientation Week committee. In the summer after my first-year, I worked as a legal intern at an entertainment company. In my third-year, I spent a semester abroad where I studied international law at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies, a division of Georgetown Law (Washington D.C.) located in London, England.
Prior to law school, I obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at York, I completed several research projects at York's Centre for Vision Research. I also volunteered at a hospital trauma unit, and I was president of York University's Monday Psychological Society.
I studied opera for 17 years and enjoy performing. I hold several certificates from the Royal Conservatory of Music in opera, piano, and music theory. I like travelling and cycling.
