Professional Activities
Jeff Beedell is our lead partner in the Supreme Court Advocacy practice area in the Ottawa office. Jeff's principal area of practice is Supreme Court of Canada agency work, which includes drafting materials and strategic advice on leave applications, appeals and motions.
Jeff collaborated with the Registrar and Supreme Court staff on the 2002, 2006 and 2011 Rules amendments, the Court's e-filing initiatives, and the introduction of electronic materials in appeals at the Supreme Court.
Jeff's other practice areas include commercial leasing, aboriginal law, and environmental law advice.

Community Involvement
Jeff has served on the Boards of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Ashbury College, Canadian Condominium Institute of Ottawa, REACH, and the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority. In his free time, Jeff can often be found participating in local charity fundraising events that involve running, paddling, cycling or skiing.
