Professional Experience
I recently graduated from the Juris Doctor program at the University of Toronto. Prior to law school, I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in International Business and Economics. Prior to law school, I worked with several major Canadian companies in a variety of industries, such as telecommunications and loyalty rewards.
During my three years of law school, I was an active member in a number of student organizations. I was a representative on the Students' Law Society, executive member of the Orientation Week Committee, and co-chair of the East Asian Law Students' Association.
I was involved with several advocacy-related initiatives as well, such as Downtown Legal Services. I also participated in the Baby Gale and the Callaghan moots. Most recently, I helped coach this year's Callaghan mooting team.
I am delighted to be returning to the firm as an articling student after having summered with the firm. My summer experience exceeded even the highest of my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the firm's truly collegial environment, its commitment to training and development, and the meaningful work given to students. I look forward to broadening my experience and learning more about the practice of law with the firm.
