Lindsay is a member of the business law group in the firm’s Vancouver office. She focuses her practice on corporate and commercial law, as well as trademark matters. Lindsay is also a member of the McMillan Startups Initiative, providing tips, tools and programs for entrepreneurs and their startup ventures.

Lindsay worked in marketing and communications prior to joining McMillan. She received her Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia.

Lindsay Dykstra has been involved in the following representative transactions: 

  • Acted for West Fraser in their acquisition of the Gilman Group, consisting of six sawmills and a finger-jointing facility in Florida and Georgia, for a purchase price of US$430 million.
  • Acted for Emblem Corp., a licensed medical marijuana producer, in its qualifying transaction by way of a three-cornered amalgamation and related $21.6 million brokered and non-brokered subscription receipts offering and $2 million short form offering document financing.
  • Acted for Great Canadian Gaming Corporation in respect of its CAD$51.3 million acquisition of Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's Gaming Bundle 2 (East)
