Professional Experience Manuel Shacter is one of the founding partners and a former managing partner of the Montréal office. He practices in the areas of commercial law, estate and successions law. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1964. A leader in both the legal community and the community at large, he was a bâtonnier (President) of the Bar of Montréal and was a member of the Québec Judicial Committee.

Manuel Shacter was honoured with the Past President's Medal of the Lord Reading Law Society on June 7, 2006.
