Professional Experience
After summering at the firm in 2010, I'm glad to be back articling. As a summer student, I had the opportunity to work with a number of different lawyers on a variety of different projects involving personal injury, labour & employment, administrative hearings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate and commercial, wills & estates, insurance claims, environmental matters, and projects in many other practice areas. All of the lawyers, support staff and fellow students are incredibly friendly and helpful, and are always available for guidance and support.
Before attending law school, I received a BA with a major in geography from Vancouver Island University in 2008. I graduated from UVic law in December 2010, after which I spent 5 months studying Japanese and teaching English.
In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my girlfriend, studying Japanese, reading, going to movies, and watching makuuchi sumo.
