Professional Experience Ratika is an associate in the firm's Business Law Group. Her practice includes mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and general commercial law.

Ratika joined McMillan as a summer student in 2009 and completed her articles with the firm in 2011. During this time, Ratika assisted in a number of complex transactions involving debt financing, real estate and other general corporate matters.

Ratika received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was actively involved in both academic and extra-curricular affairs. She volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and participated in the Baby Gale Mooting competition. As well, Ratika co-founded Osgoode's student-run Health Law Magazine, and served as co-president of the Health Law Association. She also worked as a Student Co-ordinator at Osgoode's Career Services office.
