Professional Experience
I am excited to begin my articles with McMillan this fall.
I received my LLB from the University of Alberta where I graduated with distinction in 2011 and received the Raymond James Memorial Prize in Trust Law. During my time in Edmonton I volunteered with Student Legal Services, the annual Law Show, and played on the faculty intramural dodgeball team. In the fall term of third year, I was able to study abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During my term abroad I studied international commercial law and travelled to a number of countries in South East Asia.
Before attending law school, I completed my Bachelor of Arts with distinction at the University of Victoria. During my third year, I participated in a student-exchange at Uppsala University in Sweden. Following the exchange I spent time traveling throughout Europe and even caught a few matches at Wimbledon before returning home. Just prior to starting law school I spent the year in Ottawa working for a Member of Parliament. As a self-described politics and news junky, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.
Being back in Vancouver has given me the opportunity to continue some of my favourite pastimes. I look forward to getting back on skis, spending some time in the Yoga studio, and cycling the seawall.
