Professional Experience I am very excited to be returning to the firm after summering with the firm's Litigation group in 2010. My summer experience at the firm impressed on me the firm's collegial atmosphere and client oriented approach to the practice of law. This, along with the firm's commitment to student training and development, makes it an excellent place for me to learn and grow as a legal professional.

I obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law where I bolstered my legal education with involvement in various extracurricular activities. As a student caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, I worked on immigration and refugee law files, preparing written submissions for administrative bodies as well as the Federal Court. In addition to volunteering at the community legal aid clinic, I also collaborated with other students to create a new student organization focused on law as it relates to international development. To further the growth of this new initiative, I led a working group researching access to justice issues across a number of different jurisdictions and supported the work of an international organization.

Prior to law school I studied political science and economics at McGill University in Montreal. While I maintain an interest in international affairs and politics, I also enjoy reading fiction, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and various recreational activities.
