transportation
The firm has a long association with the transportation industry. Our Transportation Group represents owners, lessors, financiers, passenger and cargo carriers, shippers, shipbuilders, ports, facility operators, and insurers operating across all modes of transportation. In addition to providing day-to-day advice and solutions for problems that affect our transportation clients, we participate in major commercial transactions of a non-recurring nature such as the purchase or sale of a transportation business and the sophisticated financing of transportation equipment. We are also engaged in the regulatory and public policy aspects of transportation law. We acted for The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation in the commercialization of the management and operations of the Seaway.
Members of the Transportation Law Group draw on the other practice areas of the firm for advice in relation to labour, bankruptcy and insolvency, taxes and duties.
The group has considerable experience in:

| |
 | | Rail and Rolling Stock
| |
