Tushara is a Counsel in the firm's Restructuring and Insolvency Group. Her practice involves all aspects of insolvency law including reorganizations, bankruptcies, receiverships, workouts, the purchase and sale of distressed businesses, lending transactions and DIP financing.

Tushara has been involved in many high profile domestic and cross-border restructuring proceedings including Canwest Limited Partnership, Quebecor World Inc. (World Color Press), Indalex Limited, Pliant Corporation and Masonite International.

Tushara regularly advises court appointed receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, monitors and purchasers of distressed assets. She also has significant experience with automotive insolvencies and has advised banks, OEMs and part suppliers in connection with several automotive restructurings.
