McMillan is pleased to announce that Max Mendelsohn and Yoine Goldstein of the Montreal office have been awarded The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Montreal chapter's first "Lifetime Achievement Award". The merit comes for having been instrumental in shaping the city's restructuring and insolvency practice over the years.

"Max Mendelsohn and Yoine Goldstein are very deserving award recipients having made significant contributions in our community. The Board of the Montreal chapter believes it is important to recognize their outstanding achievements," said Denis Hamel, Partner with Deloitte and TMA Montreal chapter president.

The awards ceremony took place on February 7, 2011 at the Mount Stephen Club (1440 Drummond Street), Montreal. John Swidler, Senior Consultant (and former Managing Partner) of RSM Richter Inc., and Fred Moss, President of Accord Financial Inc., presented the awards to Max and Yoine respectively.

This event was the first of what is expected to be an annual awards ceremony recognizing key people and their accomplishments. It is part of the TMA's effort to promote the creative and beneficial position of restructuring professionals in Montreal's economy.

Congratulations Max and Yoine.
