Ammen is an associate in the Capital Markets and M&A Group in the firm’s Vancouver office. He advises public and private clients on a diverse range of corporate and securities law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, private equity transactions and commercial agreements. He also provides ongoing advice to clients on a number of related matters, including securities regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure obligations, stock exchange matters and general corporate law.

Ammen joined the firm as a summer student in 2018 and completed his articles with the firm in 2020. He obtained his J.D. and M.B.A. from Queen’s University and a B.Com. from McGill University.

  • Acted for West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. in its agreement to acquire Norbord Inc. in an all-stock transaction valued at around $4 billion.
