Rankings and recognition
Competition partner Casey Halladay has been selected as one of the top 40 competition lawyers in the world under the age of 40 by Global Competition Review (GCR), the leading industry publication.

Casey is one of only four Canadians to have earned this distinction. More than 1,000 competition lawyers from around the world were nominated for the award.

Casey's practice covers all areas of competition law, with particular emphasis on merger review and cartel defence. He had previously been identified by GCR as a "rising star" in its 2010 Canada survey.

GCR's guide to the "Top 40 Under 40" is published every four years. Casey's selection to the 2012 list continues a McMillan tradition — partner and Competition/Antitrust practice group head, Neil Campbell, was selected to the inaugural list in 1998.
