Eric is an associate with McMillan’s Advocacy and Litigation Group in Montréal. His practice focuses on representing and counselling clients in the industries of construction, real estate, lending and insurance.
Eric appeared in front of most main courts in Québec, including the Court of Québec, the Superior Court of Québec, the Court of Appeal of Québec as well as various administrative tribunals including the Financial Markets Administrative Tribunal in matters of construction, tender process, leasing disputes, collection matters, as well as for secured recoveries.
Eric followed his LL.B. with a Juris Doctor in common law and transnational law. He then wrote his Master’s degree essay about the admissibility of genetic information in the context of the underwriting of life insurance.
Prior to joining McMillan, Eric practised civil and commercial litigation at a large provincial law firm, and banking litigation with a national firm.
