Jordan Goodman is an associate with McMillan’s Regulatory Group in Ottawa. He is building a practice focusing on Canadian business regulation, white collar defence and international trade.

Jordan completed his articles with the Firm and obtained a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa. During his legal studies, Jordan worked as a first-year editor at the Ottawa Law Review and participated in the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Court Competition. He also held summer law positions with a full-service law firm and a commercial medical laboratory.

Prior to law school, Jordan obtained his Bachelor of Arts With Distinction in Criminology from Ryerson University. While at Ryerson, he worked as a senior editor for the Ryerson University Undergraduate Criminology Review, volunteered at Ryerson’s Business Law Clinic and was a finalist in the Ryerson University Moot Court Competition.

After completing his first-year of law school, Jordan took a 21-month leave of absence and spent part of this time working as a Member Service Representative in the banking industry. During his leave, Jordan also volunteered as the head coach of a minor-league hockey team in the North York Hockey League. He also spent six of these months training and completing selection for an elite army unit as a combat soldier.
