New TCHC board heavier on corporate experience

Mary Flynn-Guglietti, a partner in the Toronto office, discussed the expertise of the seven citizen nominees up for election for the Toronto Community Housing Corporation in an article titled New TCHC board heavier on corporate experience in the June 15, 2011 edition of The Toronto Star. The seven individuals up for nomination were chosen from more than 300 applicants by a panel that Mary is a member of. 

"Flynn-Guglietti said the nominees were selected before Ootes proposed the mass sale. And she said even those with real estate backgrounds were chosen because they possess many appealing traits, such as proficiency with numbers, expertise in corporate governance, and a demonstrated commitment to working for the greater good. … "I don't think there's anybody on the list that hasn't been involved in assisting people in the community," Flynn-Guglietti said."
