Ryan Black to provide updates on Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation

Ryan Black will be presenting the first of five modules in the Business & Technology series hosted by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. His online course entitled: "Anti-Spam Law Update" will look at the impacts of CASL thus far, how companies are complying with the new rules during the transition period, and the sections that have come into force in January 2015 and how to be compliant.

His co-presenter for this module, Andrew Aguilar, is a litigator for the City of Vancouver and a McMillan alumnus. Andrew and Ryan are co-authors of the book Internet Law Essentials: Canada's Anti-Spam Law, which is available here.

The CLE-TV module will be broadcast on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (PT).

The Business & Technology series is a 5-part CLE-TV webcast series chaired by Ryan Black focusing on technology issues for businesses in Canada, including legislative updates, intellectual property and contractual issues, and best practices for managing information in this digital age.

This program is designed for business lawyers and in-house counsel and is eligible for CPD hours.
