Welcome to McMillan LLP – Marie Clemens

We are pleased to announce that Marie Clemens has joined the Firm’s Advocacy and Litigation Group in our Toronto office as counsel supporting the Firm’s Product Liability Practice.

Marie received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario bar in 2011.

Marie has practiced exclusively in civil litigation with a focus on personal injury, insurance defence and professional liability litigation. She has acted for clients on insurance claims covering all aspects of general insurance liability, including motor vehicle accidents, product liability, occupier’s liability, and statutory accident benefits.

Marie has represented clients in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal, and various other tribunals and is a committed contributor to the insurance industry with published works for numerous organizations, including:  the Ontario Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society, the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association.
