Yongchong is a senior economist with McMillan. He holds two Masters degrees in Applied Economics and Statistics.  Yongchong has practised in all areas of transfer pricing in both Canada and the US for over ten years.

Prior to joining McMillan, Yongchong spent the majority of his career with the Big 4 accounting firms, where he handled transfer pricing work in various capacities. He prepared transfer pricing documentation, transfer pricing planning analysis, APA submission, responses to audit inquiries on behalf of his clients. He advised on transfer pricing compliance risk, BEPS Action 13 compliance risk, business restructuring, APA negotiation, financial services transfer pricing, operational transfer pricing, intangible property valuation, and cost sharing.

Yongchong has extensive experience in a number of industry sectors. In addition to his career with the Big 4 accounting firms, Yongchong also worked on transfer pricing with a large bank in Canada and a large pharmaceutical company in the US.
